iWantClips' Newest Contest Celebrates National Selfie Day

LOS ANGELES — iWantClips has announced its celebration of National Selfie Day with a selfie photo contest providing five winners with a GlowMe 2.0 Selfie Ring Light.

According to the company, it offers fans an elite experience featuring a variety of talented artists sharing their unique style.

The GlowMe Rechargeable 2.0 USB LED Selfie Ring Light by Impressions Vanity Co. is a rechargeable portable light that attaches securely to most smartphones and tablets, bathing users in a bright white light that makes selfies look better.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of our newest contest for iWantClips artists,” says James Power, Vice President of Operations of iWantEmpire, which operates iWantBlog, iWantClips, iWantCustomClips, iWantPhone and iWantFanClub. “By taking a selfie and sharing it on Twitter, they will get a chance to connect with more fans [and] artists in the community, grow their fan-base and be entered to win a fun and practical prize that provides a higher quality product to their photos — especially in low lit conditions.”

Power says the company picked the Selfie Ring Light because of a lighting issue it found during its club night at Liv in Miami after the XBIZ Miami Awards Show, amongst other past club nights.

“This simple application allows for a more lit, balanced image so artists don’t have to worry about missing those key moments to capture for their brand, and their fellow artists no matter the element,” Power explains. “Club nights and dinners are an integral part of how we show our appreciation for iWantClips artists. It’s a wonderful way to bring newer artists closer into the fold of our brand, and for more tenured artists to share the experience, and knowledge on how to really maximize their potential. It’s a fundamental team building exercise and we simply love doing it!”

To participate in the contest, iWantClips artists must take a selfie and then post it on Twitter on June 21, using the hashtags #iWantSelfies and #NationalSelfieDay.

Five winners will be chosen at random based upon creativity and aesthetic value, with the winners announced on June 25 and prizes distributed on or before July 1.
